After I finished my AS Art final project I began this drawing following the theme of animal rights, amalgamating the human and pig features, which was the running theme of the project.

This is an illustration which I did after having done research into surrealism and having made a painting with a 'melting' face. I wanted to make something colourful and that had circular shapes.Around the time I did this illustration there was a full moon which sparked the idea of using round shapes.

I took a picture of a friend and I divided the face by the strenght of the tones present. I used warm hues for the face because I wanted it to stand out and give it an energetic feel. The blue and green hues were used to contrast and to settle the warm tones.
